TranscendEd Global and the Adventures of Zenith children’s book series seeks to instill Global Competence across the world in children - exploring identity, and teaching about diversity, different cultures, languages, geographies, foods, career paths, emotions, and more - to instill a comprehensive world and self view, enabling youths to see and understand from diverse perspectives, develop empathy and emotional intelligence, learn to dream bigger, and to truly become international citizens, and the leaders of tomorrow.

What is Global Competence?
The Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) defines global competence as:
"The capacity to analyse global and intercultural issues critically and from multiple perspectives, to understand how differences affect perceptions, judgements, and ideas of self and others, and to engage in open, appropriate and effective interactions with others from different backgrounds on the basis of a shared respect for human dignity"
